I have opened an enhancement request to have support for the Hauppauge WinTV HVR-950q added. Anyone that would like to vote for this can do so at: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=465139 -- Ken Schneider SuSe since Version 5.2, June 1998 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

This site says that it is supported as of 2.6.26. Are you running openSUSE 11.0? If so, then that is kernel 2.6.25.x. I wish I could get a driver for my ATI TV Wonder 650 card......... -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Yes, there is kernel support but not software support and it's not supported in YaST which is where the support is needed for configuration of the tuner. Perhaps there is firmware somewhere, I haven't found it. -- Ken Schneider SuSe since Version 5.2, June 1998 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

You would be the third person with a Hauppage card that has trouble getting it set up in YaST. I'm thinking of opening a bug report on my model 150 and the TV module. Have a look in /dev and see what you have for video devices, and try an lsmod and see if ivtv (-firmware) is listed in some form. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
