Elitgroup KS75A Motherboard & Linux
I am building a new computer with the subject motherboard and have just run across some info (from google search) which indicated there may be a problem w/ the boards IDE controller and Linux. The SuSE Hardware Database only says "unknown" for the support status for this board. Does anyone have experience w/ this motherboard? Has anyone had any problems w/ this board and SuSE? No problems here with SuSE 8.0 Pro. Been very stable.

I'm running 7.2 on it and it runs fine. 2.4.18 kernel. There was some problem with some early versions of the board, running fast athlons, I seem to remember. The onboard sound is'nt worth a damn, but that's my only complaint. I really shouldn't gripe, the price was really good.
