why libtoolize and not libtool ????????????????????????????????
libtool is the tool to ease building shared libraries. libtoolize integrates libtool into a given software project. -- Penguins to save the dinosaurs -- Handelsblatt on Linux for S/390

jfunk@jfunk:~ > rpm -qf `which libtoolize` libtool-1.3.5-50 You need libtool. It's essential to any system where you're going to compile stuff. Personally, I install most of the 'd' and 'xdev' sets and the devel packages for any software on my system. If libtool is missing, I'm guessing a number of other things are as well. suggest opening up the 'ol yast 1 and making some selections. - -- James Oakley Engineering - SolutionInc Ltd. joakley@solutioninc.com http://www.solutioninc.com -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.4 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE66bFl+FOexA3koIgRAkj7AKCcljN1iAKgqaOFS2nvO9x9bQe2fQCfXmE2 bfRFrrsWjiep0CH1zYl5GAw= =wnZl -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
