You do *not* need to reinstall. OK, ISDN is configured and causes the same crash on reboot, but use the rescue system and turn ISDN off in rc.config: I4l_START=no. How do i get into the rescue system? If i bot from cd i cannt seem to get a prompt?
1) use the rescue disk. (CD1, directory disks. create it either with rawrite from DOS or "dd if=rescue of=/dev/fd0" from linux 2) boot from CD1. enter "manual" at the lilo prompt. you're in text mode and following instructions, you'll find the rescue system 3) boot into ysat2 and quit. You end up in text mode. Same as above 4) boot drom CD2. This leads into text mode. Juergen
With the next reboot, you get another chance for trial and error. ;-)) I recomend suse-isdn though... ;-) Heh thanks. This will save mea bout an hour per test :) Greg
