Hi,
Please have a look under: http://susefaq.sourceforge.net/kde.html#KDE_UPGRADE
All instructions from FAQ are based that SuSE is offering the new rpms under their ftp site. If not I would be glad too to hear a method about this.

What is the best way to keep KDE up to date with the lastest releases?
Also, will upgraded from even the SuSE RPMs remove the SuSE icons and
such? I had that problem once before. I know about konstruct, can that
be used with the SuSE "version" of KDE?
Thanks,
