[opensuse] Remote-Anything, anyone?
Hello listmates, Has anyone got any experience running Remote-Anything ( http://remote-anything.com/ ) under Linux as a client (i.e., connecting from a Linux box t oa Windows box with a view of controlling the latter)? Is it even possible? If the answer to this last question is "yes" how does one do that? Thanks in advance. no

I do it frequently and accross distances to maintain clients windoz boxes. I use TightVNC which is easy to set up and *free*, but does require initial access to the remote boxes and their routers. http://www.tightvnc.com/ -- Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Thanks Patrick! So are you saying that a TightVNC client can talk to a Remote-Anything server? What do you run on the Windows boxes you are accessing? Boris. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
