Hi all,
I ran across a Linux hardware compatibility faq on the web. It said that zip drives were supported. Any body have any experience with this beast? What's your .02? Thanks. -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
I use a extermal scsi zip drive to share information between work and home. I have had no problems thus far. I also have had a internal jaz drive installed but seemed to have problems with it timing out or erroring when the system booted. The zip drive I mount as /zip and I also believe you can use mtools to work with it. I have not tried this but did read about some config options with mtools. -- --Michael Perry-- mperry@basin.com -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
