[opensuse] openSUSE manual in German?
Hello, I was searching for the openSUSE 12.3 manuals in German. I found this package: opensuse-manuals_de, which can be installed as a RPM package: $ rpm -qi opensuse-manuals_de [...] The following manuals are included: * Start-Up * Reference * Security Guide (English) * Tuning Guide (English) * KVM Guide (English) Distribution: openSUSE 12.3 The Start-Up manual is completely German, but Reference manual is a mixture of a German introduction and the rest is English. Does anybody know, which openSUSE version or online resource contains a completely translated Reference manual in German? I have not seen any opensuse site with translated manuals to any language, but English. I have seen this one: <https://www.suse.com/de-de/documentation/>, but nothing about opensuse. I know that there are volunteers attemtping to translate the manuals, but I don't if German is one of those languages. I don't even know where they keep the sources, I don't participate in that project. I guess that if you managed to download the package, and part is German, part English, it is because they simply have not finished it. - -- Cheers, Carlos E. R. You may write to opensuse-translation-de@opensuse.org to know the translation status. Take a look on this link too: http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat/4/idpl/20938776/dir/opensuse_12.x/com/o... It may give some leads to search. I have not tested myself. Hope this help. Nobody said English was wrong, did you?
Since we are on this subject, I'm sick to death of hearing "Press X for Spanish" - LEARN FUCKING ENGLISH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There are Multiple language speakers on these lists. Nobody have ever complained to help users by addressing to the proper sites or resources. BTW, no one have written a single spanish word on this thread. And these unsolicited comments are hijacking a legitimate thread and subject. So please, seriously, I will request you do not do that anymore. It does not help anybody.
