Hi,
I installed apache, it works correctly.
DocumentRoot is /srv/www/htdocs. Hostname is linux.local.
I want linux.local to remain the same, but add a new virtual host for
which the DocumentRoot is /srv/corto.
I add these lines to httpd.conf:
* oguzeren (oguze@turk.net) [030508 14:45]:
DocumentRoot /srv/corto ServerName corto.local </VirtualHost> But http://corto.local address returns the warning that www.corto.local is not found.
Your browser is adding the 'www' to the hostname which fails because it's not a real hostname. Of course, 'corto.local' probably isn't either; you'll need to setup a zone for your test domain if you want named-based virtual hosts to work properly. -- -ckm

Well that's a little open-ended. Try this to get the whole story: http://httpd.apache.org/docs/vhosts/index.html Regards, dk -- David "Dunkirk" Krider, http://www.davidkrider.com Acts 17:28, "For in Him we live, and move, and have our being." Webmin does a good job here.
