I had a copy of SuSE 5.1 and it was vvslow, but I was inspired to get 6.0 and the search is lighteneing fast maybe it was a bug.

I've noticed that when I use Yast to search for installed packages on my system (using F5 under Package Information), the search takes several minutes - far longer than it takes to search the CDROM. Since the search appears to be almost entirely a CPU computation, I'm puzzled as to why it should take so long. Have other people had the same experience?
