When booting a 2.6.12 or 2.6.13 kernel on SuSE-9.2 or 9.3 it gets to this point: Starting udev Creating devices input:ImExPS/2 Generic Explorer Mouse on isa0060/serio1 The machine hangs there for about 10 minutes then boots on up and everything works fine. Anyone seen this and maybe know what it is? There are no obvious messages in /var/log/boot.msg. Thanks Mark

Not seen here on any kernels up to 2.6.13 on both 9.3 x86 or the x86_64 laptop. I've just been told you should check the BIOS and turn off USB legacy support. Regards Sid. -- Sid Boyce ... I agree Sid. It could also be with "mkinitrd". Donn
