So, if I've got a system I just upgraded from 6.4 to 7.0, what the pre-req's, if any, to go to the new kernel? Do I *have* to wait until SuSE comes out with a 2.4.x kernel to download? Is it better to wait? ----- Original Message ----- From: Matthew <matthew@psychohorse.com> Date: Tuesday, January 30, 2001 2:49 pm Subject: [SLE] 2.4.1
Its out, now I won't have to try (and fail) to patch the Kernel to get Reiser support, yay! Plus all those other things I can break, I mean enable with this Kernel.

Daniel, You can do what you wish...but I would wait. It's very important that everything gets patched correctly. If you are using ReiserFS..then I would say it's more important. Depends, I am waiting for SuSE until I update my server as I need to get Iptables going. Matt On Tue, 30 Jan 2001, Daniel Casey wrote:
