I want to update a 50 KB C-source written 10 years ago using X Athena widgets. SuSE 9.0 Pro doesn't provide much info to compile such old stuff, but Sid Boyce told me to install the XFree86-devel package, and now it runs with Xaw. Now I try to use Motif widgets, but I can't compile even xhello.c because gcc cannot find Xm header files and libs, though I installed everything related to Motif from the CDs. Is there some config file for gcc? Should I skip Motif and go to GTK or Tcl/Tk? Please advice about widget sets and where to find info how to use them. Robert Best -- http://rwbest.planetaclix.pt/
