[S.u.S.E. Linux] streaming video and linux?
Somewhere I have seen a reference to streaming video on linux, but I can't remember where I saw it and a quick check of the usual places hasn't turned up anything. If anyone on the list happens to know a URL or other reference I would appreciate it. -- Bud Rogers <budr@tanet.net> I wore khaki when khaki wasn't cool. - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e

I tried the URL below and www.idonex.se told me it couldn't find it. Is the link old or mis-typed? Thanks, Mark --- m wrote:

It's supposed to be .....html. If you go back to the ~hubbe, you'll see that it corretly points to the page. Great plugin, by the way.
Thanks,

I picked up a bunch of Corel photo CDs at a computer show. The pictures file names end with the extension .pcd (I guess Photo CD format). I tried xv to view them but xv complained pcd was an unknown format. Is there any another X util to view these files? Have you tried the latest build of gimp to see if pcd is supported? <A HREF="ftp://ftp.jimpick.com/pub/gnome/snap/gimp/gimp-SNAP-980722.tar.gz"><A HREF="ftp://ftp.jimpick.com/pub/gnome/snap/gimp/gimp-SNAP-980722.tar.gz</A">ftp://ftp.jimpick.com/pub/gnome/snap/gimp/gimp-SNAP-980722.tar.gz</A</A>> For that matter, have you tried using the old gimp that ships with SuSE? if itŽs really the photo-cd format youŽll find a pckage called photocd on the suse distribution, which converts photo-cds to other formats... o far.. - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
