[opensuse] LibreOffice : changing label-type
Hi, I have a document that prints addresses to labels of a certain kind (dimensions). Now I got some other kind of labels. How do I change the document to use that new type of labels ? Before it was a page of 3*9 labels, now it's 3*8 labels. Or do I have to start from scratch ? Well, yes, that's what I do. But I haven't done it in many months, so perhaps there is a simpler way, just changing the paper type. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 13.1 x86_64 "Bottle" at Telcontar)

Thanks, That's also what I did, but I hoped there would be that simpler way. Koenraad -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

If you store your labels in a document, you are pretty well stuck with this method. The Help has a topic on printing Address Labels. It wants to work from a database, and offers a few choices for that, which vary according to what it finds on your machine. Once you put your labels in any kind of database (even a spread sheet) then you are free to select any media, and it will reformat as needed. -- After all is said and done, more is said than done. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Hi, That's the way I do it. The addresses are stored in an "excel-file". I had a box of paper with 3*9 labels, but it ran out. Now I have a box of paper with 3*8 labels. I wished to just modify the original document to use that new format. I didn't find how to do that, so I made a new document, from scratch.
