If, as I suspect, you are trying to use YOU from the UK, you might try using the expert mode for the upgrade to kdelibs and kde and put: server: ftp.mirror.ac.uk directory: /sites/ftp.suse.com/pub/suse The UK mirror service has much higher bandwidth than suse.com and different usage patterns. I got reasonable download speed even on the day Mozilla 1.0 got released. Nonetheless the patches were big enough to take about an hour to download on a 64K ISDN connexion. Hi there I managed to do the complete upgrade using YOU, over a 56k connection. Took two stints totalling about 2 hours. When you use online update just select the KDE3.0.1 upgrades and unselect the rest. Make sure there is an X next to upgrade when you select it. Be patient, it gets there eventually.
