OK, thanks for replying. Is there something free? Or had anyone got Xine to play audio and video from Quicktime files? a. Josh Trutwin escreveu:

I have got MPlayer to play Quicktime - granted it is not a plugin for Netscape, but as a standalone it even plays the Sorenson3 Quicktime codec now (if you do a bit of fiddling following the instructions on the MPlayer homepage). C.

I discovered that a couple days ago... Friday night actually. I've installed it but haven't really tested it yet. Thanks for the pointer though. There are a few MPlayer fans on the list here that may not have stumbled on this like yet. It would be interesting to hear their feedback on success or failure with the plugin. C.

I have tested it with QuickTime (Sorenson 3 codec) and asx streams. So far it is working beautifully under Konq.
