The fix will vary depending on your joystick, but this should work in the majority of cases: alias char-major-15 joy-analog pre-install joy-analog modprobe "-k" \ "emu10k1-joy" "io=0x200" post-install emu10k1-joy modprobe "-k" "joystick" My joystick was totally analog, if you are using a logitech stick then joy-logitech maybe what you need.
