Hello Everyone: I just bought a copy of SuSE 4.4.1. and after a successful initial install <grin>, i still have the same problem that i have under Slackware: I cannot connect to my isp. Under Win95, i can't even connect using hyper terminal (the wife uses Wank95, on a hd all her own). After contacting netspaceonline, they told me that they are using pap (i assume it's server initiated, not command oriented). I can't get minicom to do anything, and i am so new to linux in general, that i don't know of another client to use for connection. I have access to a company that i KNOW uses Linux, but they haven't given me any information as to when i can join them, and netspaceonline is refusing to help, or so it seems. I hate windows, but must use it to even get my email. Any suggestions? jim seiberling -- Linux RULES, windoze Drools!!!! ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at <A HREF="http://www.hotmail.com"><A HREF="http://www.hotmail.com</A">http://www.hotmail.com -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
