-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, Why does postfix bounces back list messages to the originator, instead of to the "envelope from"? Why doesn't it notice that it is mail bulk list, and refuse to bounce? Look at this: | The Postfix program | | <lists+suse@....> (expanded from <mlist-suse@.....>): delivery | temporarily suspended: connect to | /var/lib/imap/socket/lmtp[/var/lib/imap/socket/lmtp]: Connection refused | | <spool@.....>: delivery temporarily suspended: connect to | /var/lib/imap/socket/lmtp[/var/lib/imap/socket/lmtp]: Connection refused If this can be avoided with some configuration change, suse default configuration for postfix should have it (is it possible? :-? ). But these bounces should not occur, or they should be bounced to the envelope sender (ie, novell/suse), not to us. The mail list software is clever enough to suspend the subscription when it sees the bounces. Supposedly. - -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Made with pgp4pine 1.76 iD8DBQFF5IECtTMYHG2NR9URAhI7AJ96eocTlF9nbilmbgreWzIFh+BWSQCfbE+P lJPOnF/sOqtbk9ZdKO/nVrA= =xRDE -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
