[opensuse] Superkaramba suddenly not working correctly
Hiya gang, Is anyone else having trouble with Superkaramba weather on 10.3? Suddenly all I have are question marks where any of the icons should be on the widget(?). I attached a small png.

NOAA/NWS frequently does "updates" on its weather interface for web applications. For weeks the 7-day forecast was missing from: http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?map.x=119&map.y=229&site=shv (impressive RADAR right now...Severe T-storms) The forecast is back now. I suspect you are dealing with the same. -- David C. Rankin, J.D., P.E. Hi David, Unfortunately it's still not working. I played around a little bit with it and changed from using Weather.com to Accuweather, and that gave me 'most' of my superkaramba back, though there were still a few of the icons and stuff not working correctly. I've just changed back to using weather.com and it's back to no icons working correctly. I hate staying with accuweather though, because it takes forever just for it to update. So, I'm beginning to think something on weather.com's website has changed drastically enough that superkaramba can't understand the 'new' info weather.com is giving it (I hope that makes sense). -- A nation of sheep will beget a government of wolves. They are usually good at maintaining compatibility. I would bet that the forecast information isn't there for your station for whatever reason. If it isn't there, then the page is probably generated with a "placeholder" for that information that is giving you problems. You can go to the page in a browser and "view source" and take a look. The superkaramba config files are simple text files located at: ~/.kde/share/apps/superkaramba/themes Find what you need and see what it is looking for. -- David C. Rankin, J.D., P.E. I am having the same issue with the Weather applet on my Nokia N800, so it's not just a Superkaramba issue.. something definitely changed on the weather.com site... C. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
