OK, got it. Thanks a lot. Copied it to /boot, told lilo.conf about it and reran lilo. Apparantly lilo and my graphics card can't agree to get a 640x400 pic up, because it just showed the normal text menu with no penguins at all. So if someone has got a sample 320x200 lilo message file, I would be happy to try it out. Or even better: a sample list of options to mklilomsg that works with a 320x200 pic. (So I can make my own boot-picture.) Regards Ole
