Thanks Ben and Togan, I did exactly what is described in the mail and in the FAQ. Still I can't view ttf fonts in Netscape 6.2 in SuSE 8.0 in a DELL Dimension 8200 with a flat screen monitor. I can use them in KDE applications such as KWord, and view web pages with ttf fonts in Konqueror - the KDE Webbrowser. Problem is in using or viewing with Netscape and SOffice. Is your solution for Netscape in SuSE linux? _________________________________________________________________ Join the worlds largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com

I use Netscape 6.2 under SuSE8.0 and all the truetype fonts I have in my X window are available I can see them, change them in the View->Preferences menu item
Dimension 8200 with a flat screen monitor. I can use them in KDE applications such as KWord, and view web pages with ttf fonts in Konqueror - the KDE Webbrowser.
I have no idea how they look in Konqueror as I do not use KDE at all Problem is in using or viewing with Netscape and
SOffice. Is your solution for Netscape in SuSE linux?
Yes it is for SuSE Linux 8.0 for my part but looks like YMMV :-) -- Togan Muftuoglu Unofficial SuSE FAQ Maintainer http://dinamizm.ath.cx

Is your solution for Netscape in SuSE linux? Well, If I could make a small suggestion. I would upgrade to Netscape 7.0 or just go with a less *cough*bloated*cough* version and go with Mozilla 1.1 which rocks. It should have worked with Netscape 6.2 but because 6.2 is based on Mozilla 0.9.4.1 which is old as dirt..I guess you didn't get much mileage out of my advice. Sooooo...I would do the Mozilla thing. You can still use the same mail directories..etc..etc. Since Mozilla and Netscape both use .mozilla to store there stuff. I would just upgrade..6.2 is just to old to fight with. :) -- Ben Rosenberg ---===---===---===--- mailto:ben@whack.org Tell me what you believe.. I tell you what you should see.
