RE: [SLE] OpenOffice fonts
Thanks - I have a /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TTF directory. I'll run SuSEconfig & see how it works then. Don't need to. Once your ttf fonts are in the proper dir, in 8.0 it's: /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/truetype run SuSEconfig and ALL fonts will be available to ALL apps. Fred - -- Fred A. Still on 7.1 here. Probably worth noting that OO, unlike SO5.2, uses the X system fonts (thanks to Keith Winston for noticing this). This means that on 7.x, XFree86's True Type font server can be used to install TT fonts, and all will be seen by OO! (Same with K Office.) Anyway, good to hear about the progress this has made in 8.0 - one more argument to upgrade. SH
