Out of office replies :-(((
I presume other list members are getting an out of office reply from another member? Is it so difficult to unsub' if you are going to be away for a length of time? These OOO auto responders are a pain. -- Take care. Kevan Farmer 34 Hill Street Cheslyn Hay Staffordshire WS6 7HR

Oh yeah.. Lots of them.. :( Most sieve scripts can also be told to NOT send OOO replies to messages containing the X-Mailinglist header, which of course all lists has. *grr* Anders.

I don't have troubles with bounces and Out-Of-Office mails, I just see reject lines in my log... (^-^) That noise from unconsiderate list members and the spams are exactly the reason I restricted my list address. Sandy -- List replies only please! Try something like this in the procmail rc file: :0 * ^Subject.*out\ of\ the\ office IN-spam/ Install spamassassin and mark the mail as spam. - Jostein -- Jostein Berntsen <jbernts@broadpark.no>

At least some of those bouncers only bounce once: they seem to remember to which address they told that they are on vacation, and don't repeat. One of those on vacation emails mentioned the person covering his post, and I wrote to him. Unfortunately, he doesn't have access to his coworker mail account, but the bounce has not repeated. - -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.0 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Made with pgp4pine 1.76 iD8DBQFC4wHEtTMYHG2NR9URAobaAJ9heGQcQE2qKtansZ+LSQ1/Cb0M+QCfchEL bSkEfOl1kmTmWYEfpg7n5t8= =RvFF -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
