[opensuse] Spamassassin Mail Headers.....
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Is it just me, or has spamassassin been modified so it changes the message subject to include spam indicators, as well as the embedding the results in the headers in the last update? Not sure I really want this to happen as it could foul up the bayesian training a little bit! -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with SUSE - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFGN9ELasN0sSnLmgIRAjawAKDW6/AXnzmahFi45TeI98+LiuKe+QCff+Vt VN/c+7lO0bFFBffZ4sy1MxI= =lwqt -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Modifying the subject and including the results in the headers has always been an option, perhaps the default. If you are using something different from the SuSE rpms, that might be it. - -- Cheers, Carlos E. It seems that the local.cf file has been replaced or updated (the default is not to modify the subject header according to documentation)... I have to be honest not checked the configuration since v9.1 and seems some stuff I had set up has gone AWOL since (but when is the major problem).. Not critical but a little irritating... -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with SUSE - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFGOHNRasN0sSnLmgIRAqRbAJwKum/ANm2RMMOdhQTm+XWrTZLNJgCfbmnb QfZYbTezsV1E1zo1YYi4PF4= =XxPD -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

The default /etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf contains: rewrite_header Subject ****SPAM(_SCORE_)**** But if the file exists yours should be kept, and the new is renamed "local.cf.rpmnew". Just coment it out. I also have: report_safe 1 (attach original email as a message/rfc822 MIME part, untouched, after the report.) - -- Cheers, Carlos E.
