Hello, Catherine. Might one inquire as to the nature of this missive ? The only person with any power to kick people from this list is CKM, and he uses that power *very* rarely. Either you have a genuine issue that you are trying to get our support for, or you are trying to poison the list against Mr. McGarrett. The SLE list exists to solve SuSE users' issues. It is remarkably free of flame wars (most of the time), and for a list with thousands of subscribers, we all tend to get along quite well. It is said often on this list that there are no stupid questions. The same questions are often answered over and over again (Nvidia drivers springs to mind) but the questions continue to be answered with a good degree of patience from the old-bies on the list. If you are having on off-list tiff with Doug, please keep it off-list. If you have *any* more questions about SuSE, please stick around, I'm sure there are plenty of people who aren't Doug who can answer your questions for you. I fail to see how Mr. McGarrett has anything to do with who is or isn't on this list. And in all honesty, postings such as those below leave NO evidence to the context of any issues - other than there apparently is one or more from you perspective. That being said CKM or MMJ etc... are the only ones likely to have any "power" on this list. Therefore you might filter Mr. McGarrett's emails if you find them a conflict. Ben sums up my point quit nicely. I have no idea as to
the nature of any dispute or angst on anyones part. All I
was trying to say is pretty much as Ben explains. One
other point I was attempting to make is that the nature of
this lady's message was obtuse and vague - as if we would
all know to what she was referring. I find it strange
that this thread is still being carried over and I still
have not the slightest idea as to it's true context - nor,
to be honest do I care. Mr. McGarrett you've been a
helpful and loyal member of this list and I have no ill
thoughts regarding you standing on the list. I do take
exception to the lady that posted the message that started
this string of events. I find it manipulative and
contriving. Of course this is just MHO - and we all know

urge you to continue to do the same. I may not agree with
you position - but as Ben puts it I'm Just An Ordinary
