[SuSE Linux] StarOffice and KDE
Last week I saw a thread here that _implied_ that SO ran only under KDE. Sorry I can't provide an exact quote. Anyway, can this be true? No, this is not true. StarOffice is just another X-based application, it does not depend on a certain windowmanager, let alone desktop environment. In fact, you may not even need a window manager. I only know StarOffice 3.x, but it had a separate window manager for it's document windows... Pretty silly, if you ask me.
