I'm trying to do some networking for amatuer radio using the ax25 protocols built into SuSE 7.0. Everything functions correctly except the problem that arises when I reboot. The network interface disappears. I'd like to have it reappear when the machine is rebooted. Anyone help with this? Tim grover@fortgirlfriend.tzo.com

maybe add the needed modules to /etc/modules.conf and some stuff to start in one of your run levels (/sbin/init.d/rc2?) also read the SuSE boot-concept stuff..... i personally haven't used any of the ax25 stuff, but i think you could set it up just like other network services, i.e. NFS,ftpd, dns, etc.. -don KR4JX -- proud Linux user since kernel 1.1.54 icq#42235604
