[opensuse] chrootkit for openSUSE
In earlier versions of opensuse I had chrootkit installed and as far as I can remember it was found in the suse repositories. I did not find it though. Where can I find trustworthy source for a rootkit detection? Does opensuse has such a program somewhere? -- Linux User 183145 using LXDE and KDE4 on a Pentium IV , powered by openSUSE 11.4 (i586) Kernel: 3.1.0-rc9-4-desktop LXDE WM & KDE Development Platform: 4.7.2 (4.7.2) 13:24pm up 3:19, 3 users, load average: 0.83, 0.61, 1.03 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
There's a chkrootkit in OpenSUSE 11.4/Standard. I believe this is the non-oss repository. The author's website is http://www.chkrootkit.org/ and there you can download the source code, etc. You can search for it and download packages, 1 click install, etc from http://software.opensuse.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
