[opensuse] Banshee
Every time I insert an audio CD, Banshee comes up and takes over audio regardless of what else is going on. Amarok running, insert CD, Banshee comes up. Grip running, insert CD, Banshee comes up. CD Player running, insert CD, Banshee comes up. (I'm running OpenSuSE 10.3, Banshee 0.13.1.) I even tried to uninstall Banshee using YaST but I get warning messages that I'm about to remove some needed packages. Not being an expert on installations, the warnings scared me off. Does anyone have a clue as to how to stop this irritating behavior? I'd really appreciate it. Hi,
I just know about it in GNOME,
run gnome-volume-properties
In Multimedia tab, change 'Play audio CD discs when inserted' item.

That did it. Thanks. Gnome-volume-properties would be a good application to place in the GUI Control Center. I wonder why it's not there. Don Henson -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Hi,
Maybe it's not obvious meaning for setting media device, I don't
know about it before, :)
Thanks!
