In order to get the plug back on kicker, are you referring to the plug for the electrical plug for the computer? Or, are you referring to the electrical plug that appears when you are using your modem? If the one for the modem, have you tried opening a terminal and typing the command "kinternet" without the quote marks? I hope that this gives you a place to start getting things fixed.
