Hi everyone, I have been a SuSE user on and off since 6.4, so I am familiar with the admnistrative tools and so on. I really appreciate SuSE's leadership in making things like LVM and USB available before other distributors do. I have a couple of questions about 8.0: 1) Is a browseable package list going to be released for 8.0? If so, when? 2) Does 8.0 include PostgreSQL 7.2? 3) Is there any facility to start fetchmail in daemon mode at boot time in 8.0? Thanks, Marty

2) Does 8.0 include PostgreSQL 7.2?
yes
3) Is there any facility to start fetchmail in daemon mode at boot time in 8.0?
yes, just like it was a possibility since at least 6.0. -- Mads Martin Jørgensen, http://mmj.dk "Why make things difficult, when it is possible to make them cryptic and totally illogic, with just a little bit more effort?" -- A. P. J.

I guess I shouldn't feel so bad about not knowing how to do it, since clearly at least one other person doesn't know either. :) How's it done? I start two processes (one for each of two users) from boot.local... -- 12:31pm up 19 days, 21:59, 2 users, load average: 0.03, 0.05, 0.01
