I've been in the closed Beta, and Steam runs fine on openSUSE once you track down all the missing 32 bit libs (if you run it on 64 bit like me). There are currently 39 Linux games but not all are working from within the Steam client. Works best overall with nVidia and the latest Beta binary drivers.
