I want to set up a Suse 7.1 server running two 80GB ultra 100 IDE disks on a system with 933Mhz PIII and 512 ram. I want to set it up so that the two 80GB disks are raid1 (mirror) but I also want each disk to have four partitions (1 /boot, 1 /swap, 1 /, 1/var/logs) that way I can use either to boot the machine as long as the good one is in primary master slot. I have read the how to's and have set up raid 0 and 1's in the past but this is different. Can someone point me to a more definitive how to or maybe a better way of doing this? TIA. Wayne Ringling
