[opensuse] jDownloader question...
Hi all! I really really really HATE jDownloader! If it was not for me not being able to find files in formats other than dlc I would not even bother with this program. Anyway I installed jDownloader and tried to d/l a file from rapidshare. I got this error: JDownloader not responding on http://localhost:9666/flashgot! Please check your firewall settings. Could someone tell me how to handle this? I don't even think I have a firewall turned on. Anyway how about a clue? Thanks everyone! I have no problems with jdownloader in oS 10.3 except it is a liitle bit clumsy (java). Have you set up connection settings (in middle tab)? Istvan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

If You need a download manager for rapidshare, just give a try of "fatrat" - Qt4 download manager :) Works really good! Use http://software.opensuse.org/search to find a package for Your system version. -- Pozdrawiam / Best regards, Mariusz Fik, openSUSE Community Member
Hi Mariusz et al, A question and a problem. First of all, can fatrat read dlc files? Also I tried to do the one click install from openSuSE and it failed. I'm using a new 11.2 install. Thanks, JIM On Saturday 26 December 2009 02:31:46 am Mariusz Fik wrote:

Just looked, the installer says that file "libgloox.so.7" is missing. What should I do? JIM On Saturday 26 December 2009 02:31:46 am Mariusz Fik wrote:

I guess the first thing would be to adhere to the posting/quoting guidelines for this forum: http://en.opensuse.org/OpenSUSE_mailing_list_netiquette then do a search to find what package contains libgloox.so, http://software.opensuse.org/search shows nothing http://www.google.com/search?q=libgloox.so&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a provides http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat/3/srodzaj/1/search/libgloox.so.7()(64bi...) which shows it being built for 11.0 and 11.1 so you must build it yourself for 11.2 or request that someone build it for you. Past that, resort to using something else like aria2/aria2c. -- Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
