Ted:
iBCS only works for INTEL binaries from other UNIXes (e.g., SCO, NCR).
WABI, Wine and DOSemu are what you need to run Windows or DOS software.
By the way, I've had no problem using the iBCS modules with SCO software
like Wordperfect 6.

Subject: [S.u.S.E. Linux] iBCS libs
Hi Folks,
I'm thinking seriously of getting WABI, so I'm wondering whether I need to
install iBCS libs for this.
If so, I note the warning that installing iBCS libs may cause all sorts of
problems by confusing programs which need to load libraries.
I'd welcome more detail about these problems than are given by YaST; and
any
comment on the above.
With best wishes,
Ted.
