[opensuse] Reinstalling Vista boot manager
Installed OpenSuse on a second drive, but now when I try to boot into Vista I get a unable to load bootmanager error. Does anybody know how to boot Vista properly? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Hi, here is a copy of my /boot/grub/menu.lst file to see how yours varies. My WinXp is loaded on my second smaller harddrive, which actually was the original harddrive on this computer. When I loaded Opensuse on this computer, I installed a second much larger harddrive and put suse on it. Windows wants to think it is on the first primary partition of the first hard drive. So I fixed grub to do that with the mapping commands. But now one must load the windows bootloader as a chainload, that is the reason for the chainloader command. # Modified by YaST2.
