The 207 number only applies when I dialup. I read the that the 127.0.0.1 should not have a nickname or alias because of sendmail issues. So how should I list my static IP address when I dialup? I get the same IP every time and my machine is named the same each time I dialup. I've been with this ISP for 5 years now.

I note your comment about the loopback circuit and sendmail issues. All I can say is that I haven't had any problems in that respect.
