Hi I am running SuSE within VMware. I installed SuSE on it own partition on the hd. After the install Grub became my boot loader. VMWare has a virtual graphics card and it works in the virtual machine but when I try to boot SuSE directly (as if it were a dual boot machine) then I get to run level 5 but there is no X which makes sense since SuSE is configured for the virtual graphics card and not my nVidia card. I would like to be able to have SuSE self configure itsleft so that it will detect the current hardware and set the proper setting using Sax2 before it starts X. Any suggestions? I figure I can call sax2 via command line in an init script before X is started but how do I force SuSE to change the current graphics card? Calling Yast from command line???? -H
