IVe scoured the vim pages... 8-/ nada! particullary what Im interested in doing is setting up my line wrap properly setting up "sigdashes" so sigs can be automaticaly be deleted when responding getting the command for underline as in ^^^^^^^^^^ oh Is that it ? <grin> (but you'd have to backspace around to underline?? why cant the vimrc be edited? here is my attempt at an .exrc et wm=3 set sm map V :w^M:!ispell%^M:e!^M^M map ,kqs G?^> -- $<CR>d} map ,kqs G?^> *-- $<CR>dG ,kqs = kill quoted sig unto start of own signature: map ,kqs G?^> *-- $<CR>d/^-- $/<C-M> ======================================== the V macro dosnt work to trigger ispell nor does the sigdash Ive posted to muttusers... but lets just say I havent found an answer hoping for better luck here thanks rob -- Linux Home Page <A HREF="http://www.connix.com/~dizzy73/LBM.htm"><A HREF="http://www.connix.com/~dizzy73/LBM.htm</A">http://www.connix.com/~dizzy73/LBM.htm</A</A>> S.u.S.E Linux 5.3 -IRC- #suse efnet Home Linux Box S.u.S.E List Archive <A HREF="http://members.xoom.com/dizzy73/suse/Index.Html"><A HREF="http://members.xoom.com/dizzy73/suse/Index.Html</A">http://members.xoom.com/dizzy73/suse/Index.Html</A</A>>
