Hi One and All, I have been messing around, trying to code X Window. (not that I have done anything wrong :-) Suddenly all of open windows vanished except one, and my Panel (at bottom of screen) refused to 'pop up'. (It was in hide mode.) Then I noticed that when I moved my mouse pointer upward it only reached 2/3 of height and suddenly my open window vanished and all the others appeared, and the Panel flashed up. But when I moved down toward my Panel it vanished and all windows vanished and the 'original' window appeared. The mouse now 'wraps' vertically; i.e. it moves up off the top and re-appears at the bottom, moving up again. (or downward) but not horizontally. I restricted the number of Desktops to one and it works fine. Shutting down and re-starting does not help. I didn't do anything, really I didn't. :-] (sheepish version) Regards, Colin
