I know that kernel 2.6? is used in SuSE 9.1 but I'm wondering if the latest stable version of the 2.4 kernel series will be an option during install. I personally think it might be a little early to use kernel 2.6 since it is still around 2.6.5 in the development. -- SuSE Linux 8.2 (i586) ---- 2.4.20-4GB-athlon --- Sun 03/28/04 17:10 5:10pm up 48 days 19:58, 3 users, load average: 0.03, 0.16, 0.08 There are 10 types of people, those who know binary and those who don't

I don't think the SUSE folk would shoot themselves in the foot with a kernel that doesn't run right. Running 2.6.4 here (vanilla) on 9.0 and it works very well.... -- +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ + Bruce S.
