[opensuse] hp-systray question.
Hi, I see in the log these two entries now and then:
2019-04-27T14:45:25.816769+02:00 Elesar /hp-systray: hp-systray[21360]: error: option -s not recognized 2019-04-27T14:45:27.660713+02:00 Elesar /hp-upgrade: hp-upgrade[21851]: error: HPLIP upgrade is disabled by openSUSE for security reasons, see https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=853405 - if you like to upgrade HPLIP, use an openSUSE software package manager like YaST or zypper.
The second one I know why it is, no problem. My question is about the first one: "option -s not recognized". Who is using the option "-s"? I run "ps afx|less" to try find it. But what I find is: \_ /usr/bin/python3 /usr/bin/hp-systray -x \_ /usr/bin/python3 /usr/bin/hp-systray -x \_ /usr/bin/python3 /usr/bin/hp-systray -x So no, the -s option was not given or was given and then deleted. The caller is "xfce4-session". So I go to setup, Session and Startup, and sure enough, there is an entry to start the HP systray service. Correct. But I can not see its properties or edit it. So how can I find where that "-s" is written to remove it? I don't like noise in my logs. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
