So how do I get SuSE to start up with the number lock on? I'm using KDE and I just can't find the box to click. Thanks, I know it's a lameO question. It just bugs the hell out of me.

No such thing as a lame question, especially for a noob. It's perfectly exceptable to not know your way around a linux boxen, more so if you've just migrated from windblows. The list is all about getting things and people upto speed. I've been using Linux for about 3 1/2 years and I'm always learning and always asking questions. The lameness factor in this list is more about the snobs that deride the newbies and act like arrogant arses - they're the lame ones and they really don't last on the list. The list has people from all backgrounds and all levels of expertise - from the newbie, intermediate and the well seasoned vet admins. Just jump in and ask away. That's what the list is for (this aint BSD you know - hehe). :) Welcome aboard. Curtis. :)
