Re: [SLE] No mouse pointer while running KDE
Yes, We are experiencing the same thing with our PS/2 mouse. As a matter of fact using sax2 everything (mouse included) are properly configured and working until the 'test' button in sax2 is pressed. We get mouse affected changes on the test screen (by moving the mouse around), we just can't see the pointer. We have changed the physical mouse, and manually modified the /etc/X11/XF86Config to use /dev/psaux instead of the link /dev/mouse. This mouse works fine in gpm, during all phases of sax2 (except for the test screen). This hardware (mouse included) worked fine in 6.4 and 7.0 versions of SuSE. cheers, jpg
Hi, I've just installed Suse 7.1 . Eveything is fine except that I can't see the mouse pointer under KDE. In text mode with GPM, it's ok. Has anyone encounter that problem ? I'm using an USB mouse which has been nicely detected.
My box includes : EPOX 8KTA3+ motherboard -Athlon 800 Mhz -OEM Nvidia GE Force graphic card -Adaptec 2904 SCSI with cdrom and cdburner
Someone has told me about problems related to GE-Force card, but I've Win98 installed on the same box and no problem.
Thanks for any help
