[opensuse] Printing (size) problem in Firefox
The following problem does not occur when printing from Opera, Konqueror,
or other applicatons, and is associated only with Firefox. There is only
one printer here, and it uses A4 size paper. Firefox seems to think the
paper size is Letter, because it breaks pages at such a point that the
upper portion of the printed page is empty, and only enough of the page
to occupy Letter-size paper is printed.
I do not see a setting for this in Firefox's Preference notebook. In
About:config, I find one mention of "Letter", at:
Have you tried looking at the settings here File > Page Setup or here File > Print... > Preferences? I remember having to set page margins in Firefox 2 to get it to work with any printer. So maybe there is a paper size setting at one of those locations that you can set. I know that Firefox 3 has a Paper Size setting at File > Page Setup. Sorry, but I don't have Firefox 2 handy at the moment. I hope this helps. Mike -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
