On startup KDE seems to restart programs which were running during the previous shutdown. This is not an unreasonable behavior but I would rather have it just start programs I've put in the Autostart folder. Is there a way to change to this style or is the restart of all running programs built in? IIRC kwm has a -nosession option which does exactly this. Ciao, Stefan -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/

Just edit /opt/kde/bin/startkde, go to the last line and replace exec kwm with exec kwm -nosession Ciao, Stefan -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
