Hi, I just built the 2.2.13 kernel with kmod enabled. In the kmod.txt file, it says to "tell the kernel where modprobe is with": echo "/sbin/modprobe" > /proc/sys/kernel/modprobe but this dosn't seem to work. Upon booting up, I do a cat /dev/sndstat and I get a message "operation not supported by device" Then I manually do a "modprobe sound" then the sound modules get loaded. What am I missing to get kmpd to work automatically? The module loader was working fine with my 2.2.5 kernel.
