Hi, Does anyone know how easy (or hard) it would be to get the current 4.0.1f snapshot of XFree86 to work on SuSE 7? I've poked my new Radeon card back in but (as expected) it doesn't want to work with the provided build. I've had to *resort* to using Win98 on my home box which is doing my head in (again as expected :) Particularly, a question to people at SuSE: Is there a beta binary release of the X 4.0.1f stuff from CVS available from the ftp site or somewhere like that which will save me the trouble ??? Otherwise, will this be included in 7.1 ? Cheers, - Chris.

Shouln't be a big deal, if you compile it yourself.

AFAIK, 4.0.1f is not available on the ftp site yet. But I will ask, if it can be made available. The question is still open, if 4.0.1f or 4.0.2 will be on the next release - it really matters on the timing between the XFree86 team and our beta phase.
